JOFRE THEATRE
A modernist building with exceptional acoustics, it offers a varied cultural programme, ideal for concerts, theatre and more.
Modernist building opened in 1892, although its facade was remodeled by Rodolfo Ucha Piñeiro in 1919 creating the sensation of an urban palace.
Inside, the ground floor has a horseshoe shape which gives it perfect acoustics. It has three floors, decorated in the classicist style of the nineteenth century.
Nowadays the Jofre threater is an emblematic place for culture for its plural and quality offer (concerts, dance, theater, magic shows, children’s activities, etc).
