THE SAN JULIAN CO-CATHEDRAL
A neoclassical temple noted for its architecture and history, ideal for those seeking culture and tradition in a unique setting.
It is dedicated to the patron saint of the city, whose festivity is on January 7. It is a good example of neoclassical architecture made under the signature of Navy engineer Sánchez Bort. It is a new temple that came to replace the primitive church of Old Town of Ferrol, that was demolished with the construction of the Arsenal pit.
In the exterior, it combines granite in the structural elements with white plasters in the walls.
In 1959 it was elevated to the category of Co-cathedral.
