Beach of about 2100 m., located in a beautiful bay with fine white sand and crystal clear blue-green waters. It has got a Blue Flag.

It is windy and with strong swell (that’s why it is dangerous for the bath). It’s ideal for fans of surfing, bodyboarding and windsurfing.

It is located in a rural environment and has a boat anchoring area.

Access to the beach from A Pedreira or from Vila da Area, which is the least crowded area.

How to get there from Ferrol:

Road of Ferrol-San Jorge (San Xurxo).

Medium-high level of activity.
Services: bar and restaurant, parking, first aid station and lifeboat, showers, litter bins.

The camping site of As Cabazas and the recreational area of the same name are very close.
